These collages were made on the Financial Times newspaper. I found the
beautiful chalky pinkish peach colour of the newspapers beautiful. I used the
technique of making multiple( count 20-30) drawings of a single object
/figure/portrait and sticking them together only to dig it all up to get that
mixed up image. I was drawn more towards the materiality of the paper and
glue and the physical force of tearing it all down... it's was a small act of
bravery in itself!
