These collages were based on two socio-political incidents that have a
common thread running through them. This similarity is of non -accountability
of the offenders for the violence committed. The offenders were not just the
persons committing the crime but also the society and the political system that
encouraged them. The two incidents are The Gulbarg Society Massacre of
2002 and the Lynching of Mohammad Akhlaq in 2015.
